August at Rally: Come Alone, Leave With Friends

As kids, it was easy. You'd walk up to someone on the playground, ask if they wanted to play, and by lunchtime you had a new best friend. Somewhere between graduating college and becoming an adult, making new friends became complicated.

We make plans three weeks in advance. We debate whether texting first is "too much." We assume everyone else already has their people. Here's the thing: they probably don't.

That's why we built Rally. And this August, we're proving it.

RallyFest 2026: Charlotte's Biggest Pickleball Party

RallyFest 2026 is officially in the books, and it was the best one yet. Over 300 people showed up to Rally's courts and lawn on August 7th for one night of nonstop pickleball, live music, food, drinks, wellness experiences, and local vendors. The energy was electric, the shirts sold out, and one lucky person walked away with free court reservations at Rally for an entire year.

If you missed it, mark your calendar for next year. RallyFest is Rally's biggest night, and it only gets better.

Come Alone. Seriously.

August is packed with reasons to show up at Rally solo and leave with plans. Here's what's still on the calendar:

  • Singles Social: Survivor (August 22) - The tribe is gathering, and there's still an open spot for you. Show up in your best Survivor gear, come solo, and let the rotational format do the coupling up for you. Outwit, outplay, and maybe meet your match. First drink and 15% off food and drinks included.

  • Taste of Pickle (August 22 and 29) - Never picked up a paddle? This is your moment. Rally's most popular intro to the sport runs two more times this month — just $5 and a Sunny's Hard Lemonade included. The perfect excuse to finally get on the court for the first time and meet some people while you're at it.

  • Rally Social (Every Wednesday and Saturday) - Two hours of pickleball, rotating partners, a drink on us, and plenty of chances to meet someone new. Come for the games, stay for the patio.

  • Rally Royale (Wednesday Mornings) - For advanced players who love a little competition. Climb the weekly ladder, battle for the top court, and get to know a community of players who keep coming back.

For the Girls: Hot Girls Hangout

Hot Girls Hangout: The Charm Edit was everything — custom scarf necklaces, cocktails, and a room full of girls who showed up solo and left with new friends and new accessories. It happens every month, and next up is Hot Girls Hangout: The Tote Edit in September. Paint and personalize your own tote bag to create your new favorite everyday carry. All crafting materials are included, with cocktails and bites available for purchase.

Still Time to Join a League

Rally leagues are one of the best ways to build a standing weekly plan at Rally, and late summer registration is still open. Seven weeks of court time, competition, and community with people who keep showing up because they actually want to be there.

Whether you're a beginner looking for your first competitive experience or an advanced player chasing a championship, there's a league for you. A few spots are still available so don't wait. And if you miss this round, the next season drops in October, so keep an eye out.

Rally is Where Your People Are

We built Rally to be a place where it's easy to belong. Not just a pickleball club, not just a bar, not just a café, but a place where showing up alone isn't weird and leaving with new friends isn't surprising.

August has plenty of reasons to show up. All you have to do is walk through the door. We'll take it from there.
