September at Rally: The Real New Year
January gets all the credit. But if you ask us, September is the true month of the reset.
Maybe it's because 18 years of back-to-school conditioning is impossible to undo. For most of our lives, September meant a fresh start. New teachers. New clothes. A new backpack or pencil case you were weirdly excited about. You'd walk into the first day of school with absolutely no evidence to support it and think, this is going to be my year.
Then we grew up and stopped getting first days. But somehow September never stopped feeling like one. We crave the reset. A new routine. Maybe we even buy a fresh notebook just to honor the season.
At Rally, we're leaning into it. This month we're holding onto the last tastes of summer while indulging in some good old-fashioned back-to-school nostalgia. Here's everything happening at Rally in September.
Summer's Not Over 'Til We Say It Is
September in Charlotte has an identity crisis. The calendar says September. The weather says July. Starbucks says Fall. We're confused too.
Labor Day may be summer's unofficial end but we're not going quietly. Rally's Labor Day Round Robin is Monday September 7th and afternoon spots are still available. With the US Open in full swing, we're borrowing a little inspiration from Flushing Meadows. Expect plenty of pickleball, friendly competition, and Honey Deuces flowing all day. White pants encouraged.

Meet Me Under the Neon
Remember stoplight parties in college? Red meant taken. Yellow meant it's complicated. Green meant go. Subtle, right?
We're bringing the concept back with a slightly more grown-up definition of connection. Glow & Mingle Social is Friday, September 19th. Rally goes dark, the neon comes out, and your color coded glow stick tells the room what you're looking for.

🔵 Blue — just here for friends and good vibes
💚 Green — open to either
Come looking for a doubles partner, a new friend, a date, or just a good Friday night. Your glow stick does the awkward part for you. Three hours of organized play, first drink included, and everything you need to glow out.
Welcome to Hogwarts
On Sunday September 20th, Rally is becoming Hogwarts.
This is Rally's first-ever Harry Potter Round Robin, and when we say Rosie's excited, let's just say she's been practicing her Wingardium Leviosas. Before stepping onto the courts you'll be sorted into houses to compete alongside your fellow Gryffindors, Slytherins, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs for house glory. Off court expect Harry Potter inspired specials, music from the films, and plenty of magic tucked into the details. And yes, there will be house-made Butterbeer flowing.
We won't give everything away but if you hear Moaning Myrtle coming from somewhere in the building — no you didn't.
Morning and afternoon sessions available. All levels welcome.
Arts & Crafts Are Back
Turns out arts and crafts were wasted on children.
For Hot Girls Hangout: The Tote Edit, we're breaking out the paint and personalizing tote bags to create your new favorite everyday carry. As always expect cocktails, bites, and a room full of girls who came to make something and maybe a few new friends while they're at it.

The After-School Special
Remember when the best part of the school day was whatever came after it? We're channeling that energy with our new Scoop Shop Classics Cold Brew Flight — four mini cold brews topped with cold foams inspired by the ice cream flavors you grew up ordering.
Cookies & Cream. Mint Chocolate Chip. Butter Pecan. Strawberry Shortcake.
And because we're still not entirely ready to let summer go, we're giving peaches one last moment in the sun. The Peach & Prosciutto Sandwich is on special all September long. Consider it the best of both seasons.

A few more things worth knowing about September at Rally:
New to Charlotte Social (Sunday, September 6) — New in town and still finding your people? This one's for you. One hour of rotating play, good company, and a first drink on us.
Taste of Pickleball (September 5 and 19) — Never picked up a paddle? Five dollars, one hour, first drink included. The easiest yes you'll make all week.
Courts & Coffee (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings) — The best way to start any morning. Pickleball and a complimentary drip or cold brew before your day gets away from you.
Rally Social (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights) — Two hours of rotating play, a drink on us, and plenty of chances to meet someone new.
